He bent down to her height, placing his face in her way. "I didn't ask you a question. I'm telling you. You think he did. You think he picked her over you but where he fucked up is obvious. Did you see the way he looked at you?" Ross said, he asked to clarify her knowledge of the situation. She needed to be put onto Aaron's game. He was a coward who didn't know how to be a faithful man, he didn't recognize the good woman that he had but Tiffah was no second choice. He wanted the goods India served him for free with no commitment in the air. India came easy, but with a woman such as Tiffah; he had to be consistent. He had to put the work in - it could be a bit draining, but the ending results were worth the trouble. He wanted to work hard on his own time and have the easy freak all the time too. "I don't doubt he loves you, it seems easy to love you. Feels necessary." Ross cupped her face.

"That's not love, you don't hurt someone you love like that," she argued.

"We hurt the ones we love all the time. It does not mean we don't love them. Respect, on the other hand - he didn't respect you. He didn't appreciate you. He failed to remember the good thang when temptation struck," he explained. "But above all else, let me," he finished. Tiffah was overwhelmed, she backed away from him.

“Stop,” he pleaded this time. His plead purposed to stop her from stalling away from him, also.

“Come back to me,” he challenged. She did; walking right into his arms – which was becoming her favorite place to be. He accepted her and her inhaled cherry blossom scent. “Time,” he assured her. She didn't need it to be refined; she understood his term to be about healing. Tiffah's eyes were closed but her mouth searched for his lips, he cupped her face as he tasted her lips as his free hand held her tightly against him. A moan betrayed her as her body tingled/ trembled from the mere touch of him. They led each other to the living room, to the couch; their lips never parted. Tiffah took one, too many steps back and stumbled onto the couch where Ross hovered her. She was positioned on her back and he broke their kiss to admire her. Her frantic eyes searched his hesitant eyes for answers.

“Ross?” she whispered his name, trying to understand his silence.

“I want to…I can't,” he softly spoke. He tangled his fingers in her curls and held his lips to her forehead. Ross tried to stand from being on top of her – Tiffah held him in place.

‘I want you to. I need you to,” she practically moaned the words in his ears. She tugged at his buckle, needing him out of the slacks that restrained what she wanted. One thing for certain, the fictitious illusions of white men lacking in that area was just that – nothing factual.
